Our Food

In Indonesia, food gives life meaning. Mealtimes are treated as a chance to connect with friends and family, to share stories, and to ease the burden of everyday life.

Indonesian cuisine is a collection of different culinary traditions, it varies from province to province and many recipes are family secrets which have been handed down through generations. Each province and island are renowned for various speciality dishes. Lombok where Rasa Rosa began, is famous for its spice (Lombok means chilli). It is also famous for a dish known as ‘ayam taliwang’ which is grilled chicken covered in an aromatic combination of chilli and spices. Rice is also a staple part of Indonesian mealtimes. It is rarely left off the table and is often consumed for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert!

Rasa Rosa serves up several different Indonesian cuisines that will broaden your pallet of Southeast Asian food to challenge your taste buds by trying something new!
